UNITED STATES CAPITOL POLICE/ NATIONAL GUARD “Task Force Capitol Grounds Coin”
This coin commemorates the collaboration effort between the United States Capitol Police and the National Guard during the aftermath from the attack on the U.S. Capitol on January 6. The historical barb wire fence that was placed along the perimeter of the U.S. Capitol grounds is portrayed on this coin.
The other side of the coin shows the National Guard logo. All 50 states were represented by the National Guard to include the territories stationed at the U.S. Capitol for months after the attack.
This coin was co-created by a Sergeant at the United States Capitol Police and leadership within the National Guard.
