WWII German-occupied Poland: 10th Criminal Police Agency / Nazi-German Security Police (SIPO) Polish-language protocol document dated 7 April 1944
, confirming receipt of declaration of missing personal documents belonging to Anna Zalewskiej, charged 40 groszy using a Warsaw municipal tax stamp (1928 series), cancelled by hand. On the reverse is a German-language statement filed by the Sicherheitspolizei dated 13 April that "the loss has been entered in the investigation file" with a large bilingual form cachet for the evidence filed, stamped below. The importance of the document is probably that it served as a substitute for the missing documents in the event the citizen was stopped for inspection. The main red handstamps are in German and Polish. Folded multiple times with light tears along some of the folds. The Warsaw uprising against the Germans took place 4 months later. An interesting view of how the Polish and German security forces worked together.
