This set of belts can be a great help to those working with a number of brands, or in the repairs of the same.
30 in this lot, with more varied belts than what are in the pictures.
This set of rubber bands (bands or belts) should cover a larger and more varied types of drives.
Important to remember: with time the original belts become brittle and hard, causing slippage.
These fit most of the DVD and CDROM drives which we have repaired,
and have had experience with over the years.
Some can take smaller bands, as the bands can stretch to some degree.
Remember this point when fixing your drive.
Hand test by holding the little motor pulley noting any slippage or stretching, if any, try another belt.
Also, we are trying to fit a band to stop slippage on the pulleys or belt wheels, so that the tray will open.
BTW, always use a pin to open the tray, if there is a problem.
These bands are an assortment as seen in the pictures, various colors and sizes.
I have picked the ones to be most likely to fit most CDROM or DVD drives (see added info above).
These belts are chosen to fix the problems associated with not closing or not opening (slipping, stretched and a hard belt).
An instruction help sheet is included.
A few extra belts/bands will be included.
If your drive is gear driven, direct drive, or other than belts, this kit will not fix your problems.
