1966 Strombecker 1:32 Road America Racing Slot Race Set Cheetah & Dino Ferrari

You are looking at the best example of this race set you will probably ever see. The box, and interior packaging looks almost brand new. No discoloration, no rips or tears, no split corners, no marker, no tape. It's BEAUTIFUL!
Set is complete as far as I can see and contains the following:
All track, in near mint condition (one piece with wire melt mark)
Pilons; 5-short, 3- med, and 7-long
35- track clips (only need 15 to set track up)
12- guardrail sections that look like were never attached to track. They look new
All literature as seen in pic. Looks complete as new
1- powerpack
2- hand controllers (both have wire melt marks from reaction of wire insulation against the plastic over many years time)
2-cars; Aluminum chassis versions;
Dino Ferrari with all trim and in nice clean and shiny finish. Rear glass has full  crack in it (see pics)
Cheetah in hard to find blue, also in excellent condition with no issues, but missing one round tail light.. Nice, clean and shiny finish.
Note
: both cars were tested with a bench power supply and both run motor wise, but both has split plastic pinion gears and are slipping. New gears will be needed. Tires are dried out also, so if you are going to run them, you will need new tires.
I did hook up the terminal track with the transformer and controllers, and finally got power to the track, but it was spotty. You'll have to be a good trouble shooter and clean all connections to get this to run flawlessly.
