Up for sale is a 1929 Cort Theatre Chicago Playbill titled ‘The Playgoer The Magazine of the Theatre’.
This is for the December 15, 1929 opening of the presentation 'The Queen Bee’.
The magazine has theatre information and lists the cast.
Perhaps most interesting are the numerous vintage advertisements including the Lucky Strike Cigarettes American Intelligence ad on the back cover.
The magazine is 9-1/8” x 6-3/8” and has 32 pages.
The Playgoer has slight age darkening but that is appropriate.
There are no tears, creases, stains, or dogeared pages and the stapled binding securely holds the pages.
